Note from Chef Sanjana -
‘I share a love – hate relationship with my younger brother. We both have contrasting view points and working styles and have a go at each other most times, but yet our bond is invisible, eternal and mighty! Early last month, when I begun thinking of what special I could create for Raksha Bandhan this year, it was this ‘Contrast’ bond that I share with my brother that led me to come up with this array of 5 distinctively contrasting yet strikingly delicious chocolate bon bon pairings that I’m so excited to share with you all.’
The flavours include, the Hands Off My Chocolate is a blend of 70% chocolate and Kalamansi Vegan Meringue Pie, the Partner-in-Crime Bonbon includes Blue Cheese and Chocolate Walnut Praline paired with 72% Dark Chocolate, the Mom Loves Me More is the homely peanut butter with miso praline and raspberry chili gel paired with raspberry and dark chocolate, You are my 2 am Person includes a Coconut and Blackberry Lavender ganache topped with coffee streusel in a 60% coffee chocolate, the Secret Keeper is Black sesame with passion banana creme and passion fruit gel paired with yuzu chocolate.
Each flavour is an ode to the love-hate relationship, the unending squabble over the last piece of chocolate, the late night talks about life, and all the small moments that siblings share. The box of bonbons is not only a decadent gift to bestow upon your sibling but also an interpretation of separated by differences and united by love.
